An illustrated guide—not a record of your visit. Your appointment and care are confirmed by the office.

First-visit guide · 01 / 04

Call or request your first appointment.

Tell the office whether you need a checkup, have a tooth concern, or are arranging a family visit. You do not need to choose a treatment before getting in touch.

  • Wait for the office to confirm your date and time.
  • Ask what your first appointment includes and how long to allow.
A question you can ask

What will my first visit include, and when should I arrive?

First-visit guide · 02 / 04

Know what to bring.

Ask which identification, insurance information, forms, or previous dental records are needed. The office can explain how to obtain or share any required paperwork.

  • Have your questions about the visit and payment ready.
  • Discuss medicines and medical history privately with the dental team—not through the website form.
A question you can ask

Which forms or records should I arrange before my visit?

First-visit guide · 03 / 04

Discuss your concerns with the dentist.

Tell the dental team what you would like help with. Ask what the examination shows and whether X-rays, a cleaning, or another service is appropriate for your scheduled visit.

  • Share anything that makes you nervous.
  • Ask your dentist to explain the findings and options.
A question you can ask

What does my examination show, and what care do you recommend?

First-visit guide · 04 / 04

Understand your care plan.

Review the recommended care, alternatives, estimated fees, and follow-up. Your examination guides the plan; this page does not recommend treatment for you.

  • Ask what the estimate includes and what insurance may cover.
  • Confirm any instructions and follow-up appointments with the office.
A question you can ask

What are my options, expected costs, and next steps?

Your next step can be a simple hello.

Call with a question

Have a tooth concern now? Call the office about an evaluation rather than waiting for a website response. Read about urgent dental concerns

How do I request my first appointment?
Use the appointment request form or call (909) 655-5050. Tell us you are a new patient. The office will follow up and confirm your date and time; sending a request does not reserve an appointment.
Can I complete registration or send medical records here?
The website form is for scheduling and general questions—not registration or medical history. Ask the office how to obtain any required forms or share previous records. Do not enter medical records, insurance numbers, or payment details in the website form.
Will my first visit include a cleaning?
Ask what is scheduled. Your examination and gum evaluation help determine the appropriate care; a cleaning is not guaranteed at the first visit. Learn about exams and cleanings.
How long should I allow, and when should I arrive?
Confirm the expected appointment length and arrival instructions when you schedule. The time needed depends on your visit.
What if I am nervous or have not visited a dentist in a while?
Let the office know when you call. Share your questions and ask what to expect. You do not need to identify a treatment before arranging an examination.
Can I arrange appointments for my family?
Children and families are welcome. Call about each person’s needs and availability. For a child’s visit, ask who should attend and what documentation is needed.
